This will be a weekly class in October on Thursdays at 7:30pm. In November we hope to move it to 6pm and in January to add additional days/times. Please be sure to let us know of your interest and if you plan to attend ahead as space is very limited!
This beginner to intermediate Hatha Yoga class can increase strength, tone and flexibility while reducing stress.
Focusing on your breath will also increase your awareness, awaken your senses and help you appreciate the present moment. Reconnection with the body, reduced tension, and profound relaxation are the deeper benefits of yoga—and these benefits can have a positive impact in all areas of your life.
You will be encouraged to individualize your practice to suit your body’s needs. By focusing on your breath and listening to the signals from your body, you can determine whether a pose is good for you, or whether you need to modify it.
My dedication to health guides my personal and professional life. I started my career as a Registered Nurse in 1992, continued studying the body and became a Licensed Massage Therapist in 2000. After discovering a passion for Yoga I completed extensive training and began teaching in 2003. I now integrate this knowledge with my skills as a Certified Personal Trainer, resulting in a holistic and safe approach to fitness and well being. Practiced individually or together, this approach will help you reach your fitness goals, reduce stress, and lead to greater sense of balance in everyday life.
